September Garden Events

A round-up of community garden events for September:

  • Tuesday, September 7, 6:30pm: Planning Meeting for Spaghetti Dinner fundraiser – We can use your help planning!
  • Tuesday, September 14, 6-8pm: Film “Good Food” – The Northwest is a model for sustainable agriculture and Good Food visits Northwest farmers, farmers’ markets, stores, restaurants and public officials who are developing a more sustainable food system that can serve as a model for others. The filmmakers Melissa Young and Mark Dworkin may attend.
  • Saturday, September 18, 10am-2pm: Strategic Planning Meeting – This will be planning for the entire year in regards to growing, sharing, eating, building, and policies. Led by a facilitator. Please consider joining us to plan for the year and share your ideas about the Garden.
  • Saturday, September 25: Community Spaghetti Dinner & Fundraiser – Come and join us for a community spaghetti dinner (with sauce made from the garden’s own tomatoes)!

All events are held on the grounds of the Ravenna-Eckstein Community Center (6535 Ravenna Avenue NE).
